It's that wonderful time of year again, the seasons are changing bringing new hope,
the youngsters are heading back to their studies and our wonderful counsellors are meeting children and young people to support within schools and privately.
We support 25 Surrey schools offering fully funded counselling sessions on a term on/term off basis. We have an amazing team of Counsellors who work with children & young people on our behalf. Our counselllors support 2 or 3 children during a morning or afternoon in one school per term and the counsellors receive supervision, training and support from our Counselling lead.
We have many fundraisiers and supporters throughout the year. Most of the schools we support carry out a fundraising event on our behalf, we have our annual charity golf day coming up on Friday 8th September and our main event the annual charity ball in November.
Every year we are amazed, astounded and extremely grateful for the support we receive, everything really helps.
We have booked our annual charity gala dinner and dance in a different venue this year. We will be attending the beautiful Brooklands Museum for an evening of eating, dancing and fun, with a few tipples if you so prefer. Our fabulous event will be on the 19th November and further information can be found here . This year we are also offering you the opportunity to sponsor a table, gaining some great advertising. Last years' ball was an amazing night and we raised over £5000 to help towards our annual target. Our gorgeous team of trustees and volunteers are busy gathering auction and raffle prizes, if you can help with any of these, please do get in touch.
All of our events help us reach as many children and young people as possible. This year to date we have supported over 165 children and young people.
We are still in our first year of trading in our Pretty & Preloved shop on 21 High Road, Byfleet, KT14 7PG. Our flagship fundraising shop sells good quality donated items in a boutique style setting. Open Mondays to Saturdays 10amtill 4pm we welcome everyone for a browse and a chat, please do pop in and see us. All clothing is half price until 4pm tomorrow (Saturday 3rd September) and we will be holding a special 'fill a bag for £10' sale between 12 and 3pm tomorrow afternoon.
