Our trustees and volunteers are extremely proud to have continued fundraising, no mean feat during these very tough times. So many more of us have or are struggling with our mental health due to the pandemic, which includes many many children and young people.
So thank you to you, for your continued support. We really are reaching many more children & young people and are currently planning to double our service offering next year. We really are making a difference.
You may have see that one of our fundraising ideas was the opening of our very first 'popup' shop. We are proud to take donations and recycle these for onward sale in our 'boutique' style charity shop. Lockdown was a big sticking point, but we didn't let it stop us. Our amazing retail manager, Anne Harrison, and her team of loyal volunteers (working according to Government guidelines) continued to bring you some top quality preloved items online.
Our popup shop is open at Room C, Byfleet Village Hall, 54 High Road, KT14 7PG, Wednesdays through to Saturdays from 10am until 4pm. We also bring you some of our latest bargains on our Facebook page through posts and live videos, you can find it here.
We have some exciting plans for our charity boutique and are currently recruiting for volunteers to help us out, so if you love clothing, fashion, unusual household items and enjoy talking to people and are able to commit to regular hours, anything from 3 per week, then please see our volunteer role description here or get in touch with us for more info.
We are also running an open day at our shop on Sunday 9th may 2021, details can be found here or on our events page on this website. We have lots of new and preloved items to bring you, and Anne and her amazing volunteers will be available during the day. Please do come along for an informal browse, we would love to see you.
We will keep you updated on our exciting growth plans and our events on the website and our social media pages.
