• Mental Health Support

We currently support 23 Surrey schools by providing fully funded counselling for children and young people for a half a day for two terms per year as well as part funded counselling for children, young people and their families through a self referral process, reaching over 40 children, young people and their families every week. We know that there is a huge demand for our service and would love to be able to offer support in every Surrey school at some point in the future.

The Childrens Society states "In the last three years, the likelihood of young people having a mental health problem has increased by 50%." and goes on to say that " 52% of 17 to 23 year olds have experienced a deterioration in mental health in the last five years."

It is widely reported that the mental health of our children and young people is getting worse and we believe early intervention is vital to help with any presenting issues now but importantly, giving children and young people the tools they need to be able to help themselves if any future concerns arise.
